From June 15 to 23, 2025, the city of Bogotá became the epicenter of a strategic international recruitment mission led by Equinox World. Technical Education and Global Mobility: A Key Partnership with ECCI University

One of the trip’s highlights was the formalization of a partnership with ECCI University, renowned for its technical focus and the quality of its training. Together, Equinox and ECCI implemented a rigorous assessment system including both theoretical and practical tests. The goal: to validate candidates’ skills according to Canadian labor market standards.

This collaboration not only enabled more accurate profile selection but also reinforced the professionalization of the migration process, placing technical universities at the heart of international workforce mobility.

Quality Training: The Strategic Role of SENA

Another key aspect of the mission was strengthening ties with the National Training Service (SENA), Colombia’s leading public institution for technical and professional education. With thousands of graduates each year, SENA represents a pool of highly qualified talent.

Thanks to the agreement established with Equinox, it is now possible to post job openings directly on their institutional portal, facilitating access to technical profiles that meet certified quality standards. Moreover, a joint effort is underway to develop standardized assessments of technical skills, aiming to align qualifications with international criteria.

Key Adjustments to Administrative Procedures

Beyond interviews and partnerships, the mission also included meetings with key actors in the migration process to Canada. Manon Rouxel visited the offices of VFS Global, the organization responsible for collecting biometric data for visa issuance, as well as agencies in charge of issuing international driving permits.

These contacts are essential to streamline the administrative procedures for selected workers, reducing delays and obstacles before their departure for Canada.

Colombia in the Global Spotlight

This trip to Colombia reaffirms Equinox World’s commitment to excellence in international recruitment, while highlighting the vast potential of Latin American talent. Universities, public institutions, and private companies converge toward a common goal: creating mobility opportunities that benefit both workers and employers.
