We have detected attempts of fraud and identity theft aimed at deceiving those who trust us to find job opportunities abroad. That’s why we want to ensure you know our official process and are protected from any fraudulent attempts.

How do frauds operate?

Scammers often contact candidates pretending to be our company or associates, requesting upfront payments for procedures that supposedly will speed up their recruitment or immigration process. These false requests include payments for services, procedures, interviews, or guaranteed positions, among others, creating confusion and vulnerability among candidates.

Our transparent process

At Equinox World, transparency is a priority. We want all candidates to be fully informed about each step of the process, especially regarding payments. It is important to highlight that no recruitment fees are ever requested at any stage. However, in accordance with Canadian laws, foreign workers are responsible for covering certain mandatory costs, such as government fees in Canada, biometric data processing, health exams, VFS (VISA) fees, and, if necessary, an international driver’s license.

Additionally, it is essential for applicants to know that these personal expenses, such as those mentioned above, are only required at the end of the recruitment process, once the candidate has been officially accepted by the employer and their position is guaranteed. NO UPFRONT PAYMENTS ARE EVER MADE.

Payments only to official accounts

All payments related to the recruitment process and immigration procedures must be made exclusively to the company’s official accounts. We will never ask you to transfer money to personal or unverified accounts. If you ever receive a suspicious message, please contact us immediately to verify the authenticity of the information.

To avoid being a victim of fraud :

  1. Always verify the source of any communication. Official contacts will always come from our corporate email accounts, which correspond to the domain @equinoxw.com.
  2. Never make upfront payments. Remember that any payment in our process is only requested at the end, once the employer has accepted you. Official accounts are registered under Equinox World.

  3. Verify the authenticity of the accounts before making any bank transfer. If you have any doubts, contact us directly.
