A look back at our participation in the AERMQ golf tournament

On Tuesday, July 2nd, we had the pleasure of participating in the 28th golf tournament of AERMQ (Association de l’Enveloppe et des Revêtements Muraux du Québec) at Le Mirage Golf Club. The event was very well organized, we had beautiful weather, and we were fortunate to have the exceptional participation of Guy Carbonneau.

Our representatives Harold Cardenas and Alexandre Pras met potential clients such as manufacturers, general contractors, and architects, all part of the construction sector, specifically in wall coverings for residential, commercial, and industrial applications.

We also identified prospects who mostly need carpenters and installers with expertise in these trades, for which CCQ card certification is required. We explained to them that this is indeed the case and that our integration team would initiate the necessary steps as part of our specialized foreign recruitment solutions.

Our representative Harold, present on-site, stated:

“We took advantage of these meetings to gain a good understanding of the dynamics of the wall covering sector by discussing with architects who specify the systems and types of materials (wood, vinyl, aluminum, steel), in order to connect with manufacturers who comply with standards and technical specifications, thus providing contractors with what they need to deliver and complete the projects assigned by the end clients.”

Although construction projects have declined in the residential sector in recent years due to high-interest rates, a recovery is expected next year.

We will be attentive and ready to supply the requested foreign workers in the wall covering industry. Regular follow-ups will be required on our part to be as responsive as possible to the market recovery.

We would like to thank AERMQ for allowing us to present Equinox at this wonderful event.
