Participation of Equinox World in the Regional Meeting of Recruitment Agencies of OIM Mexico

We are the only Quebec-based agency operating in Mexico that was invited on July 15th and 16th to the Regional Meeting of International Recruitment Agencies organized by IOM Mexico, under the initiative of their IRIS program. This event brought together agencies from Mexico, Guatemala, and Honduras to strengthen dialogue, exchange experiences, and promote the ethical recruitment of migrant workers.

Strengthening dialogue and ethical practices

This event, which brought together agencies from Mexico, Guatemala, and Honduras, allowed for two days of collaboration to strengthen dialogue, share experiences and best practices, and promote the ethical recruitment of migrants in the Americas.

Protection of migrant rights

On the second day, discussions focused on proposing better practices to enhance actions for the protection of migrant workers’ rights. Equinox World played an active role in these dialogues, sharing its expertise and perspectives on the recruitment and integration of foreign workers into the Canadian labor market.

Participation in this event demonstrates Equinox World’s ongoing commitment to continuously improving its practices and promoting high standards of ethical recruitment. We remain in close contact with IOM to continue exchanging these practices and experiences, ensuring a constant sharing of best practices and fruitful collaboration.
